Peter Styles - Managing Director

As Managing Director of Stratos European Policy Limited, Peter offers EU policy analytical services. He has conducted market, competition and regulatory analysis, advised on the implications of proposed new EU laws and acted as policy consultant for a number of clients, especially in the financial sector.

Recent areas of special expertise are the negotiation of the Brexit process and the political dimension of economic and monetary union within and beyond the Eurozone. In addition energy and climate change are areas of original specialisation, partly covered by a division of the company named Stratos Energy Consulting.

Peter is a graduate of Cambridge University and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 1978. In Spring 2011 he became an Honorary Associate of the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy at Dundee University and a visiting member of the Social Sciences Faculty of the University.
